There will be a select number of remote appointments available for each week and I will schedule you for that separately. Your materials will need to be uploaded into the secure portal via the link that will be sent to you upon confirmation of your appointment.
Client Information, Privacy Policies and Notice Regarding Advisor-Client Privileged Communications The Federal Trade Commission has issued regulations that require tax preparation firms to provide an annual statement of firm privacy policies. Here is our policy: I handle all information you provide with the utmost confidentiality. Your personal information will never be shared. I will not disclose your personal information to anyone without your express written permission to do so, or unless we are legally required to do so. For example, if a mortgage lender contacts me for a copy of your return or information about it, I will ask that you provide written permission prior to responding to that request.
You should also be aware that anything you tell me during the preparation of your tax return is confidential, but not protected from the IRS. Privileged communications (those that are protected from IRS authority to compel our testimony) are limited to non-criminal tax advice on matters before the IRS or non-criminal tax proceedings in federal courts. Although I consider any information you provide as confidential, return preparation engagements are not covered by advisor-client privilege. If you feel the nature of any subject matter to be discussed requires protected communications, please raise that issue so that we can discuss your possible need to consult with an attorney for legal advice. You may have some concern about the confidentiality of the information you provide to this office. It is our policy to keep your personal and business matters confidential to the extent permitted by law.

About me
Born in Oklahoma City, OK, the baby of 6 kids, Daphne Bloomer McVay has been an entertainer from an early age. After high school, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting and graduated Summa Cum Laude from UCLA with a BA in Theatre Arts. She has been blessed to work in numerous commercials, loads of theatre, films and TV shows. She most recently recurred on Season 2 of Showtime's “Your Honor” and just filmed a moving feature film,"Hello Beautiful" in Boston.
A lifetime lover of math, problem solving and saving money, Daphne always enjoyed the process of organizing for her own tax preparation. Her former tax preparer, Chuck Sloan, encouraged her to go to school and get her tax license and join his team. This is her 11th year as a tax preparer, and she continues to be thorough and extremely detail oriented. With 80% of her clients either working in entertainment or as an independent contractor, her personal experience in both areas serves her clients well. Her creative and analytical brain enjoys the workout. When she’s not working, Daphne enjoys spending time with her hubby and two kids, connecting with friends, cooking, camping and traveling.
